Sharing the Jalie Love
Teaching people to sew with Jalie’s sewing patterns is sew much fun! It’s all about sharing the Jalie Love. For the most part I’m still teaching using Zoom, but do have a 2-day workshop coming to That Sewing Place in Newmarket!
I’ve had students from all over the place on Zoom! It’s a great way to take classes without having to leave the house!
Sew, I’ve been sewing up a storm, getting samples ready in many stages of completion. That way I can show the next steps over the camera. It’s working out very well, but does take a bit of planning. At times I record videos and put them up on my YouTube channel for repeat viewing. Have a look by clicking here.

More information about each pattern is available on Jalie’s website. Class information is on That Sewing Place’s website. If you’ve been here before, you KNOW how much I sew Jalie.

Right now we’re sewing Rose, a sleeveless buttonup blouse perfect for these hot humid days. We’re getting ready for lesson 3, attaching the collar, and then at the end of lesson 4 I’ll share how I used this very versatile pattern to make a few other summer tops.
I’ve also been thinking of hosting another Jalie Sew-along here on my blog, and am open to suggestions. Please email me at yvettechilcott@yahoo.ca with your ideas!
Sharing the Jalie Love with you.
Sew, until next time, I hope you stay in stitches!
