My Jalie Winter Wardrobe, 2 new Additions
My Jalie Winter Wardrobe has 2 Additions
They’re warm and cozy, perfect additions to my Jalie winter wardrobe.
These 2 pieces of fabric became a couple of soft and cozy sweaters. They were on sale at Fabricland!
Black and Red Dolman 3352
Soft, stretchy, so cozy to wear, the first Jalie winter wardrobe addition is 3352 Dolman, a new version again done entirely on the serger in 1 hour. The instructions for the 1-hour serger dolman are for sale here on my blog, but be sure you have the pattern, too. They go nicely with my black Renee ponte pants (with my added easy one-piece welt pocket)
Red with Grey Flowers
This one is a soft cozy poly/rayon that was also easy to work with. I changed the turtleneck collar of Jalie’s Yoko pattern to be more of a cowl and have added the instructions to the bottom of this post. You can download this pattern for free on the Jalie website!
.Super easy to sew, this took me a little over 1 hour from pattern pinning to wearing. Totally sewn on my serger, then over to cover-stitch for the hems.
Here’s a link to a printable PDF (please use Adobe) that explains how I modified the turtleneck to a draping cowl.(it’s free)
