I’m all geared up for another Jalie Garment Sewing Retreat at That Sewing Place Newmarket!  They host this twice a year, Spring and Fall, and I LOVE being the instructor.

Here’s how That Sewing Place describes it:

This in person retreat with Yvette Chilcott will give you the opportunity to work on your projects while benefiting from Jalie brand ambassador Yvette’s knowledge and guidance. Learn to make different types of sleeves with your patterns. If you need guidance for any Jalie pattern or would like to finish your projects you can bring those in to sew as well. This retreat is for sewing with Jalie patterns only. Patterns can be purchased in store or on the Jalie website at https://jalie.com/.

An optional treat: Come with two top patterns prepared except for the sleeves and choose from approximately 20 sleeve adaptations.
A variety of Sergers will be available for use during the retreat to help you give your garments a professionally finished look.

Price includes Lunch and snacks.

Exclusive! Sleeve Variations for the Jalie Garment Sewing Retreat at That Sewing Place Newmarket

I have an entire tutorial about sleeve “hacks” that I’ll share with our attendees.  Each “hack” will be described in detail so you can create your own unique sleeve style to suit your personality and garment.  These “hacks” are my own, and suited to many of Jalie’s garment sewing patterns.  I’ll have sewn samples of some of them with me.

I look forward to spending time with Jalie Garment Sewists and sharing my knowledge and enthusiasm with them.
